Roland AX-1 For Sale. Strap on MIDI remote controller keytar. Control your MIDI devices - modules, keyboards and computers while showing the world that keyboardists don't have to sit behind a pile of machines. That's right. Look out guitarists, your time is up! This is one of the more in demand keytars. The AX1 sends midi note data, pitch bend (with cool ribbon bender!), modulation, program changes, reverb, chorus, sequencer start/stop, MIDI volume and more.
This unit is in good shape for a used item of its type and age. There are some scuffs and imperfections typical of use, but nothing ugly or unusual. Some of the letterings worn off - mostly the sound names above the patch select buttons which most people won't want anyway, unless they're using General MIDI. (WHO'S General MIDI, you ask? We don't know either!) There's a battery snap that will attach to either a 9 volt battery or to a sled containing 6 AA batteries (6 x 1.5v=9v). There's no sled in this AX-1, so we tested it with a 9v battery and everything works fine. If you prefer to use AA batteries instead, one of the popular electronic parts suppliers should sell the sled for just a couple dollars - if you really need this please contact us and we should be able to arrange to get you one. This sale includes a ROLAND strap, so you can strap it on and rock out with the best of em! Yeeeeee-haaaaaa!
