WHY SOME ITEMS MUST BE PRE-ORDERED
We recently became an authorized dealer for some new product lines. Many items are not in stock and are ordered from the distributor and shipped to us after the customer pays for them in full. Since availability is unpredictable and this process can take a while, please do not order from us if you cannot wait patiently for your items to be delivered as we cannot issue refunds once we purchase your items from the distributor. If our distributor sells out of a particular item, pre-order will no longer be an option.
Most vintage items need many hours of restoration before they are up to our high standards. We often cannot justify making such a big investment of time and money until we have a buyer lined up, so some items are only available on a pre-order basis.
VERY IMPORTANT PRE-ORDER REQUIREMENTS
Before pre-ordering, you must fully read, understand and agree to our general terms as well as the pre-order terms outlined here. Please pre-order an item ONLY IF you are 100% sure you want it, will have the funds available for it, and will pay for it by our terms and accepted payment method(s) once it is ready or you will forfeit your deposit and we will cancel the transaction. This is non-negotiable. We don't want this to happen, so please do not pre-order if there's ANY chance that you won't pay for it by our terms. Please make sure you know our approximate shipping fees before pre-ordering.
Photos shown on pre-order item pages usually represent a unit we sold in the past. We do not photograph items until after cleaning and servicing are complete.
This amount is what we plan to sell the item for once restoration is complete.
This is the amount we will require before beginning work on the item. This amount is deducted from the final price of the item.
ESTIMATED PREPARATION TIME
Once we receive your deposit, the item will be put on hold for you and we will begin its preparation as soon as we can. Any estimated lead time is just an estimate and is not guaranteed. Delays sometimes occur due to workload, unavailability of parts, or unusual problems that can complicate repair. The item may be ready much sooner or much later than expected. You agree to pay for it as soon as it's ready, however long it takes. Please do not pre-order an item from us if you can't agree to wait very patiently for it.
ONCE THE PRE-ORDERED ITEM IS READY
Once preparation is complete, we will invoice you. We must receive the full balance due within 7 days. If you need additional time, please discuss it with us before you pre-order.
Shipping calculator estimates for pre-order items, when shown, will be inaccurate as they won't include the full cost of shipping insurance and packing materials. These costs will be included when we invoice you once the item is ready to sell.
If we are unable to restore the item to full working order by reasonable means or are otherwise unhappy with its condition, we reserve the right to refund your deposit and cancel the transaction. We reserve the right to do the same for any other reason or no reason at all, although we certainly don't expect to do so. In the very rare cases where restoration proves more difficult and/or costly than anticipated, the final sale price may be higher than the projected price. In the very unlikely event that this happens, we will notify you and give you 24 hours to decide if you want to purchase it for the new price. If not, we will refund your deposit and cancel the transaction.
