The 01wFD is a great improvement over the original M1, which is still possibly the most popular workstation keyboard of all time and is still being used by many songwriters and keyboard players today. The 01w-FD is full of much better sounds - a beautiful assortment of extremely useful acoustic instruments and wonderful synthetic tones which blow the M1's sounds away. It's multitimbral so you can create complete multi track MIDI arrangements on it without the need for additional synthesizers. The sequencer's a breeze to use too. There's a floppy drive to store your sounds and sequences to so there is no need for expensive RAM cards. If you're looking for a workstation to create all your instrumental synth tracks on then this is an excellent choice.
