Version 1.34D.
Manufacturer's original product description:
The LP1 is 8 stereo loopers in one box! With 8 tracks which can be synchronized or independent of each other. The LP1 does the job of up to 16 traditional loopers.
Loop beyond traditional boundaries, the Looperlative LP1 is a tool for now and the future. Built from modern technologies, the LP1 is built with room to grow. Enjoy a rich feature set today and enjoy an even richer feature set in the future.
The LP1 offers eight independent stereo tracks. Each track can be synchronized with any other track or it can be asynchronous with the rest of the tracks. Because all eight tracks are run by a single processor, synchronized tracks will never drift apart. The eight tracks can be independently adjusted. Each track has an independent volume and feedback control.
Not only are there eight tracks, but each track is fully stereo. All audio inputs and outputs are fully stereo. Right and left channel stay in perfect synchronization because they are processed together.
The LP1 offers excellent audio quality. Analog audio is sampled at over 6 Mhz, digitally filtered, and then resampled at the standard 48 kHz sample rate. The analog-to-digital conversion produces 24-bit digital audio which is then stored and processed as 32-bit digital audio by the digital signal processor (DSP). The audio is then converted back to analog through 24-bit digital-to-analog converters. The result is a very natural sounding audio output.
The LP1 is MIDI compatible. The MIDI interface can be used to control the LP1 or provide a synchronization interface with other MIDI devices such as sequencers or drum machines. Connect a foot pedal MIDI remote controller for hands-free operation. The LP1 offers a simple programming interface to easily configure it to be used with your MIDI controller. Also the LP1 can provide a MIDI clock or synchronize to a MIDI clock.
The LP1 offers easy connectivity and expansion through ethernet. Software upgrades and audio can be transfered through the onboard ethernet interface. The ethernet interface was chosen to offer the greatest number of expansion possibilities. As the Internet continues to grow, the LP1 is ready to participate. Software upgrades are easily obtained via the Internet. Numerous audio transfer features will be possible in the future through the network interface. Unlike other interfaces which are master/slave, the ethernet interface is a peer-to-peer connection. The LP1 can simultaneously act as a master and a slave over a single cable.
The LP1 will grow with you. Because software can easily be distributed through the Internet, Looperlative will continue to add new features to the LP1 over time. Looperlative will strive hard to provide musicians the features that they require. We already offer an online forum where customers and prospective customers can discuss the LP1 and looping in general. Many of the features already in the LP1 were placed there at the request of professional musicians.
The LP1 offers the basic features that people expect from a looper. The LP1 can record, play, stop, and overdub tracks. It can reverse individual tracks at any time during playback. It can speed up or slow down a track. Track volume and feedback can be altered from the front panel, MIDI buttons, or MIDI expression pedals. Feedback levels are applied to each sample as it is played. The LP1 offers immediate and delayed stop and play for seamless transitions.
The LP1 offers a simple but functional front panel. Most status is presented on a high-visibility 2-line vacuum fluorescent display. Simple menus are controlled with a single knob and two buttons. Eight track buttons allow easy selection of the eight tracks. Eight track lights offer basic status information about the tracks. One all-track button is used to apply functions to all eight tracks simultaneously. Finally, four user-defined buttons can be programmed as you desire.
