Yamaha DX-5 For Sale. Fully serviced and tested by professionals and working great.

DX7s are pretty common, but DX5s were a lot more pricey when they came out, so fewer were sold and they're a lot harder to find these days. The DX5 is like having two DX7s in one keyboard, or like a DX1 in a lighter package, with slight differences. Unlike the original DX7, the DX-5 allows the user to save performance data into patches. Since the DX-5 (and DX-1) contain 2 DX7 synthesizer engines, here's what we've had to say about the DX7:

You all know the classic Yamaha DX7, the most well known digital synth ever. World famous for the beautiful synthetic sounds generated by its FM synth engine. There's hardly an 80's synthpop band that didn't use one (or several)!  The DX7 is well suited for a variety of musical styles. It's capable of reproducing the classic DX7 "Full Tines" lounge piano sound. If you're into techno sounds or ambient music, many of the distinctively digital sounds which can be programmed into this keyboard will separate your music from the currently trendy analog sound. And of course, if you're an 80's synthpop fan, this is the synth for you - there's hardly an 80's synth group that didnt use the same sounds you'll have access to if you buy this synth. Here's a brief list: Vince Clarke of Erasure, A-Ha, Depeche Mode, Tony Banks of Genesis, Karl Bartos of Kraftwerk, Level 42, Cabaret-Voltaire, Dead or Alive, Coil, The Cure, Stock Aitken and Waterman, D:Ream, Brian Eno, Howard Jones, Enya, Front 242, Herbie Handcock, Kitaro, Petshop Boys, Nine Inch Nails, Talking Heads, U2, Underworld, Stevie Wonder, Vangelis. Whether you're trying to recreate classic sounds of the 80's or 90's or looking to make fresh new sounds, this synth's a great choice.
