Moog Minimoog Model D sn798x For Sale Professionally Refurbished

We bought this unit from someone who paid his local tech nearly $1000 to service it, but the tech did a half-assed job, so we did the stuff he didn't do. The end result is a Minimoog that works just like it should, without surprises and excuses typical of most other vintage gear sales these days. 

Here's what our tech did after the other tech did his thing: 

Replaced power supply electrolytic capacitors, an important preventative measure
Removed keys
Replaced keyboard bushings
Cleaned key contacts
Adjusted key heights
Cleaned unit
Recalibrated VCO, VCF, VCA
Cleaned and lubed all switches

The Minimoog filter was designed to self-oscillate - if you turn up the resonance, the filter emits a sine wave. By switching the two filter keyboard tracking switches to the right, the filter will track the keyboard like the oscillators do, but not as precisely. This is normal Minimoog function. This unit's self-oscillating filter plays in tune for about 2 octaves. Beyond that range, its not in tune.
